News is that Brookfield Properties, owner of the park, decided to postpone the cleanup and eviction (their words: postpone “the scheduled cleaning of the park”). Cleanup by people is continuing. See the story in the Guardian, since the *NYT* blog-article is so uninformative this morning (just a few lines at the end about what the protest is and its supporters, almost everything about Bloomberg, the police actions, etc.).
